Canyon de Langevin

Description

Canyoning at Langevin is the perfect trip with friends or family! It is ideally located at the foot of Grand Galet waterfall in the commune of St Joseph in the wild south.

This trip is a true introduction to canyoning, in a tropical atmosphere with lush vegetation.

Depending on the season, you'll find abseiling, ziplines, plenty of jumps and some natural slides.

We start the day with a 5-minute approach walk to reach the viewpoint of Grand Galet waterfall.

Then comes a mega 50m zipline starting from 20m high. Don't worry, nothing is compulsory! If you're not comfortable, you can always walk down.

We then descend the river to discover its small caves, including the blue cave, and its beautiful little waterfalls.

This is followed by a multitude of jumps and some natural slides.

The highlight (weather permitting) is a superb 40m zipline-slide, arriving at the famous hidden pool.
